At this time of year when there are lots of bugs around (arghh!) I always keep some fruit juice ice lollies in the freezer. So easy to eat when you are ill, refreshing, hydrating and full of energy -- and if you have a temperature might help to cool you down! The kids love lollies and being able to produce one when they are under the weather cheers them up no end. Also takes their mind off feeling ill for a bit! When my daughter was ill in hospital with serious pnemonia a few years ago they gave her as many ice pops as she would eat! Since then I always keep a stash in the freezer. Roll on the summer! x
