Most days my breakfast is a green smoothie with a strong coffee. I find it a great way to start the day! The coffee for a kick start and the smoothie for lots of vitamin goodness! Don't be put off by the spinach & avocado, you can't even taste it!
There are lots of ways to make a green smoothie, and I have experimented with many, and this is my favourite.
What you need:
A cup of apple juice
Half a banana - I half mine and leave them in the freezer as they then make the smoothie smoother & colder
A handful of spinach (you can leave this in the freezer too to preserve it, and so make the drink colder)
Half an avocado
A good squeeze of lime (and I chuck in a bit of the rind too for added flavour!)
What you do:
Just put all the ingredients above into a nutribullet or blender etc and that's it!
